Play Along by Liz Tomforde

emotional funny hopeful inspiring medium-paced

5.0

I LIVE, LAUGH, LOVE THIS BOOK!!! And she did it again, Liz Tomforde made me fall in love with one of her main couples, there’s just something special about her writing that sucks you in and makes you forget about everything else.

Isaiah is kind of the perfect book husband, he’s a hopeless romantic and so obsessed with Kennedy, always making sure she’s okay and eating, always there for her no matter what and he puts her first every single time. It was so heartwarming watching him unravel and let himself be who he truly is around Kennedy. I just ADORE Kennedy, she’s a perfectionist which I can relate to and she is so strong and loving even though she spent most of her life alone and unwanted. The way she opened up to Isaiah and trusted him made my heart swell.

Their chemistry is palpable and their love is on another level, even though the circumstances made it that they had to enter a marriage of convenience, they took their time to get to know and figure each other out. The respect, the commitment, the communication… just beautiful. These two got me laughing at their banter and crying at their vulnerable moments.

The characters of this whole series are pure joy, the love and the support they have for their group is something everyone wants. The found perfect family.

The epilogue was perfect and more, I didn’t want this book to end and I can talk about it for days… PLEASE read it, it’s a masterpiece. P.S.: I can’t wait for Rio’s book!!!!
