this book had me annotating like crazy. i've ready lots of books and i always had nothing to say and annotate, but with this book it felt like my mind is being fucked and gaslit with every page. but what shocked me the most was the precaution at the end. i've always thought that amy was a girlboss gaslighter psycho bitch but wow that move!!! it had me gasping and pausing for a minute before i had to continue reading. both amy and nick need some serious psychological intervention, but most especially amy. she's a psycho bitch, but she's extremely brilliant. i'll give her that.
i would also like to admire the author bc this book was well-researched and thought out. her writing style is gripping and easy to follow through. you really get to know the characters well based on the tones she used. amazing!
