When Breath Becomes Air by Paul Kalanithi

5.0

i was near tears the entire 3rd part, them welling up and then going away for the better part of the end. the very last line is “i was his wife and a witness.” and my heart broke for her. i loved this so much. the first part is so slow and so disconnected from the story (i don’t believe the main author wrote that part) but please please read past this. push forward— it’s more than worth it.
