Queenie by Candice Carty-Williams
4.0
This book was a laugh from start to finish, with a very down to earth vibe that makes you feel that the main character, Queenie is someone who you would meet through a friend.
Championing themes from self love, mental health, what’s going on in the world and why it’s important and the fact that you don’t need a man to be happy. This book was a breath of fresh air.
Queenie grows as a person through the novel - and it’s really comforting to see! I’d highly recommend this book.
