The Angel Maker by Alex North
2.0

I have never read a book by North before.
This book was dark, twisty and engaging. It did move mostly fast paced for me.
There are multiple perspectives and timelines that weave together and you can slowly puzzle things out. Which I do enjoy when I get to discover and connect things on my own, but if you don't have full attention you can easily get confused. Many times I had to pause and try to remember who the person was, it got to a point that it was hard to keep track of names.
I also don't think the title quite fits bc "the angel maker" isn't really involved as a character or the main plot much. It's spoilers to delve more into why.
The ending wasn't quite as satisfying, it didn't really tie things up in a neat bow.
Overall, it's a fast and intense read. I enjoyed it and I'd like to try the other books this author has written bc I did enjoy the writing style.
