Everything for Her by Alexa Riley
4.0
4.25 stars.
It's Alexa Riley, is it really a surprise that I loved this? Come on now.
Right off the bat, I'm really happy that most of the time Mallory used Miles's nickname (which is Oz), because Miles is my brother's name and occasionally I would get a quick flash of my brother instead of who I envisioned as Oz. That did sometimes pull me out of it.
So in real life this kind of obsessive/possessive behavior would make me run the other direction but in books, I love it. Oz sees Mallory when she's 17 and falls head over heels immediately and spends the next 5-8 years watching and protecting her from afar.
There's nothing too surprising about where this goes, if you've read a chunk of contemporary romance and/or erotic romance, you'll be able to figure out the play-by-play fairly easily. But despite the predictability I enjoyed the ride and zoomed through the book.
Although I loved Oz, That was the only major issue I had with Oz.
Overall this was a really great book. I flew through it, despite the hectic week I've had, and I can hardly wait for more full length novels by one of my favorite authors.

Now I figured out pretty quick that Paige would be a "hired friend", someone that Oz that after knowing Mallory for a while, really thinks of her as a true friend, not just someone she was hired to watch and befriend. When Mallory found out everything I felt so bad for Paige, I probably should have felt more for Mallory during that but I ended up feeling worse for Paige. I can't wait for her book.Although I loved Oz,

it really bothered me when he punched Joel. Joel wasn't doing anything but dancing with Mallory and Oz just comes out of no where and punches him. Yea, maybe Joel was flirting a bit but Mallory was handling it fine and it wasn't like Joel was pushing himself on Mallory.Overall this was a really great book.
