The Last Conversation
by Paul Tremblay
tremblay really enjoys unravelling mysteries, and this eerie short story is a great example of that. you’re left piecing together the clues he left behind, with only those small breadcrumbs to figure out what exactly you just read. this was a poignant statement about time, love, and identity. there is something terribly sad about this, so solitary and gloomy, and the world we are thrown into as readers truly is a hopeless one... but not so far from what our future could be like. just wow
