ebianchette 's review for:
Supermarket
by Bobby Hall
I'm actually shocked to see how many horrible reviews there are of this book. I enjoyed it. I love Logic as an artist, and admire his willingness to discuss mental health issues, including his own history of his struggles.
The writing may not be Pulitzer Prize-winning prose, but the story is unique and multi-faceted. The story is about struggle, about not believing in yourself. In struggling to prove yourself so deeply that you drive yourself insane.. I can relate to all of these things.
I think, despite what others think, it's smart. It's hitting on some heavy topics in a light way that make the message easier to digest for a wider population of people.
