Scarred - The Complete Series #1-6
by Kylie Walker
So as the blurb says this I'd about a young woman who has lived through abuse and is trying to live her life.
Honestly I really wanted to love this book, it sounded really good. In truth I pushed through hoping for the big storyline promised but wasn't delivered.
In parts is was, but honestly the main character with the Insta-love storyline... It just didn't seem realistic for the MC and hoenstly that bugged me so much.
And really all the characters absolutely adoring her... I know we surround ourselves with people we like but honestly we also deal with people we really don't like on a daily basis and we deal with it... Its frustrating that this doesn't even exist in this world other than the main protagonist.
Also the unnessessary side line with the protagonists father... Annoying especially as it didn't lead anywhere... It made me excited for more plot but no such luck.
The whole main scene (you know where I mean the whole story built up to it) was just disappointing it was no where near detailed enough there just wasn't enough of it for such a long buildup.
