Blue Lily, Lily Blue by Maggie Stiefvater

i’m honestly not sure what rating to give this book because, even though i really loved it, not quite as much as the first two. still, it worked really well as a middle book and i just know that the next one is going to unleash absolute chaos (and i’m scared as fuck).
y’all should have seen my reactions every time adam and ronan interacted. i’m so invested in them!! ronan sitting beside adam after persephone’s death, even though adam said, “i don’t wanna talk,” and ronan stayed anyway, just to be there for him. or when he and gansey showed up at court to testify against adam’s father. or ronan breaking into adam’s car just to leave him lotion for his chapped hands right after they’d fought. and him leaving a mixtape in adam’s car. and don’t even get me started on the grocery cart scene, ronan pushing adam around and crashing them into the BMW. that scene was so fucking cute. ronan is just SO down bad and adam knows it too as he even reflects on ronan’s crush: “see, adam parrish is wantable, worthy of a crush, not just by anyone—someone like ronan, who could want gansey or anyone else, and chose adam for his hungry eyes.”
