2nd in Series - In this sequel to Lavender House, Andy is now living above a nightclub and working
1952 Detective - as a detective. And being gay in 1952 is definitely a struggle, even in San Francisco
Mysterious Ex - When his Ex shows up with a mysterious case for him to follow, he wonders if he can truly go back to his past or follow to his future
Since I really liked Lavendar House, I felt like I needed to pick this one up. I like that i paints a picture of the nightlife and gay bars in the city at the time, and the characters are very good. However as far as the mystery, while I was pretty taken aback by who was responsible, a lot of the people affected by the crimes were just ok. I wanted be more invested in it and I just wasn’t.
