My Soul to Keep by Kennedy Ryan

4.0

I absolutely loved the chemistry between Rhyson and Kai! Trying to be friends first really helped them build solid trust and compassion in an otherwise fake city/industry. I laughed every time Rhys put on a silly disguise to go see Kai at work.

Once they realized they were meant for each other, the relationship got so steamy!

The drama from Rhyson’s family added a much needed element of pain and suffering to his character. Something Kai had full knowledge of and could comfort him in a time of need. The emotional connection was gripping.

I really enjoyed the musical elements of the story, especially when Kai and Rhys performed together. It was a shared passion they could both understand. I felt like the fact that they were both striving for the same type of career helped them to understand each other better, understand their unique needs and desires when it came to their work and perfecting their craft.

But that ending though!?!? Oh Rhys, what have you done?!?
