V for Vendetta by Alan Moore

4.0

I saw the movie during my college years ,and was mesmerized by the voice of Hugo Weaving, vulnerability of Natalie Portman ,and vision of the world preached by 'V'.
After chancing upon the book in my local library was not able to leave it unread.
A visceral read ,and perhaps ever more relevant in this day and age of global tech surveillance ,mostly voluntary(a lot forced in the name of order/safety/governance and what not).

“People shouldn't be afraid of their government. Governments should be afraid of their people.”
