Kit
- Kit is an orphan, who has certain powers. She is stronger and faster than it would be normal for someone her size, and when she gets an adrenaline rush she has very fast healing
- Very traumatic childhood
- A fierce lil thing. Not a huge fan of how she kept repeating that she is no damsel in distress when lowkey she does have to be rescued A LOT in this book. I wouldn't have an issue with it if she wouldn't keep going on about how she isn't a damsel when... she kinda is. She is still a fierce one, who doen't take shit, especially not from her harem members, and isn't afraid to get violent
Caleb
- Austin's twin
- Generic funny, lighthearted rh mmc
- A fun guy, lacking a bit of depth for me? Maybe we'll see more of that in later books
Austin
- Caleb's twin
- The only source of OWD (he has a girlfriend for a bit who is a rude bitch, we never rlly get into depth about it tho)
- Generic rh mmc who hates her, does't understand the infatuation, is annoyed by the other's love to her, yap, yap, yap
- I was kinda bored with him, because characters like that just aren't my thing, but I gotta admit
that I really liked that he kept his personality even after falling for Kit. Often types the 'bully' archetype loses all their personality after falling for the FMC. How he acted while they were captured, while making me want to punch him, made total sense to me
Cole
- Former MMA fighter (I think?)
- Gentle Giant (but only for her) vibes
- Lowkey my fave, I admit
- Suuuuper protective. Even shortly after meeting he is pissed when she wants to meet with Simon, and later the scene in the
fightclub thingy, when she walks away from her spot and he thinks something happened ? I was meltinggggg
River
- British leader of the group
- Wants to be adressed as Sir
- Very in control and stuff... Idk what to say about him, the british accent honestly mostly took me out of it while listening to the audiobook, he was a solid guy ig
Wesley
- The youngest of the group (20), taking care of tech support and overall being the "baby"
He had very little to do this book and honestly I'm not even sure if he is supposed to be part of the harem... If it wasn't explicitly said that Lucy is a lesbian I honestly would've assumed a romance is being set up between those two
Conclusion
While I still don't understand why character like Kit who is supposed to have been stealing for years can't just be college aged and has to be 18 for some reason, I liked this book.
A good balance of plot and romance, some good spice scenes without being overpowering or dragging, solid and (most of all) distinguishable MMCs... I liked it!
