this was my first time with a litrpg and normally they're pretty cringe but, Honour Rae went off in this series. The world-building, the magic and even the fact that she made the dragons work in this story is nothing short of insane & genius. i haven't read a card-based magic system in a while and the fact that it still wasn't overwhelmed by the idea of dragons was refreshing and made this the book such a treat to read. I love the dragons, i love that they can talk and have feelings & i love the magic and the endless types of powers available (idk how she keeps track of all of it) & the main character is my absolute favourite.
