So I genuinely enjoyed the story and the premise!
Plus I'm ALWAYS here for a vocally childfree main character so I was extremely excited when I saw that!
I found Veronica to be hilarious, intelligent, unapologetic, and truly a delight!
My main issue is that there were a few parts that simply dragged... It felt like an intentional use of pages. I kept wanting the main plot to just kind of... Start.
Since this is the first in the series I think the author was really just trying to set the stage, give background, and establish the character dynamic.
I'm very hopeful for the second in the series!
