Just What Kind of Mother Are You? by Paula Daly

Lisa is dealing with her hectic life one day at a time until her best friend Kate's daughter (and her daughter's best friend) is kidnapped and everyone blames her. This was a little slow in the middle, but it picked up more at the end with several twists that I didn't see coming. Though it's told in the perspectives of Lisa, the detective, and occasionally the kidnapper, I wish that we had gotten Kate's point of view. I think that the real issues at play in this book were very unique to the genre but were sort of glossed over. I would have liked some more development with them so that the reader could have gotten a clearer picture and the uniqueness of the book could have been focused on more.
