While the premise was very promising, it was just plain boring. The stakes, that should have been high - a crumbling marriage - weren't engaging. The characters were so one dimensional. I'm not against flawed characters in the slighest, but in romance, the characters need to be lovable in some sort of way at least at one point in the story, and Gavin wasn't at all.
It feels like a mockery of women's sexuality, and the place it has in a marriage. Can the male ego be any more fragile? Baffling.
Did he actually kiss her without her consent at least twice in the beginning? What the actual hell?
