Happy Accidents by Jane Lynch

4.0

I can't say that I bought this memoir because I was a huge Jane Lynch fan - no offense to her. I was a fan of the show Glee and curious to learn of her take on stage in Annie. It was enough that when I stumbled upon her book I gave the cover a turn and started reading - right there in the store. I was immediately draw to her writing style and the honesty behind the words she chose (particularly describing herself). She's a tough critic of her own personality and humble to sing her own praises. It was a quick and fascinating read. I can say that I feel a good deal of respect for Jane and the journey she's taken to make a respected name for herself. She has splayed her emotional and sexual insecurities to her audience in her exploration and acceptance of who she is; bravo.
