π§πΏπΌπ½π²π: enemies with benefits, brother's best friend, single mom, found family, enemies to lovers
π§πΏπΆπ΄π΄π²πΏπ: dr*g use, parental neglet & abandonment, cancer
Bayle is a single mother, but also a super flight attendant. She never could stand her brother's friend, Mason, since college. They meet again at the airport and later, on the plane where Bayle works. She was always attracted to him, but his playboy tendencies made her not be interested.
Mason moves to Arizona to open a restaurant with his friend from college. He's never been a fan of commitment and relationships, but as he starts spending more time with Bayle and getting little feelings, this starts to change.
The relationship between them begins as an "enemies with benefits", but even so they show their feelings towards each other in their own special way.
I think I liked Mason's character development the most. From the man who didn't want a relationship and children to, the one who can't breath and live without Bayle and her son.
I liked it a lot, but be prepared that the first chapter is a bit emotional.
Thank you M.J. Huxley for the opportunity to read this amazing book in exchange for an honest review.
