Glad to see some awareness of how adverse childhood experiences impact outcomes for children and that thinking about social safety nets but knowing more about his life didn't leave me with an understanding of his values just that he was successful at adapting through unhealthy family dynamics. Also talks about how poor and damaged his community was but his family sounded like they did just fine paying for his mom's rehab and buying TI-83 calculators. Not saying he didn't go through some trials but also sounded like he had alot of help and opportunities handed to him along the way and think he has some catch ups about it.
