I'm a huge fan of Bri Lee's non fiction and I'm passionate about art so I thought that even though I'm not a big fiction reader I'd still get a lot out of this, but oh boy this was not for me.

There were some occasional lines that I liked but aside from those random gems I didn't enjoy anything else in this story.

The protagonists were unlikable (particularly Pat, if I hear him describe someone's tits one more time), I don't enjoy sex scenes in general, the Banksy reference was laughable, the story was juggling way too many ideas to the point where it says nothing at all, the main climax right at the end of the book goes seemingly nowhere, the ending felt completely pointless, and it was all just very tiring to follow.

I really wanted to like this, and towards the end I thought it might turn things around but it just didn't.

Also why is everyone talking about the blueberries so much??? That felt like such a minor part of the story I barely even remember them.
