I adored the first book, adored the first half of this book, and then the rest of it, I honestly don't know what to think about. Which is strange for me, because usually the uber-gritty crass sense of humour and plot is totally up my alley but I think what did it were all the rape references in the second half, and the talk about fucking a headless child-like robot in the stump of it's neck, and the part with the girl who basically got tricked by Spider into a shitty life as a porn-star by way of drugs that he made himself immune to prior to bringing her there.

I'm totally conflicted on this one. I'll probably keep reading them to see where it goes. I love the rest of it so far, but the second half of this book left me feeling really off.
