I can truthfully say this is going to be in my top for favorite books this year. I enjoyed the sarcastic breaking of the fourth wall throughout the book, even though I am not normally a fan of media/literature that breaks the fourth wall. The author did a great job both confusing and keeping everyone in the loop, there were several times I thought I had figured it out and kept being proven wrong. The writing was a lot at times but it made sense for the story, there were lots of call backs, and lots to keep track of, but it almost made it feel like a game to me. If you like funny/silly mysteries with not too much gore then I suggest you give this a try. I listened to the audiobook for this guy and it was interesting to have the breaking of the fourth wall because it was specifically mentioning it being an audiobook, which I found funny.
Graphic: Body horror, Confinement, Death, Gore, Gun violence, Hate crime, Violence, Blood, Grief, Death of parent, Murder, Fire/Fire injury, Abandonment, Injury/Injury detail

The Domestic Abuse/Child Abuse are one and the same and it is described as emotional abuse and physical abuse but no mentions of SA.
