Twice Shy by Sarah Hogle

5.0

I read this a few weeks ago and planned to write some epic review for it, but I don't think I have that in me right now. Trying to write reviews for books that I love always feels like reaching out into a fathomless pit of feels and hoping to pluck the right words out to describe my adoration. So just know this. Hogle writes with feeling, and it's impossible not to fall in love with her characters and their lives along the way. Her books are fun, but they've got layers to their complexity and I love Maybell and Wesley so, so much.

I'm still saving Just Like Magic as a pick me up for a rainy day, but Hogle is an autobuy author of mine and this just helped cement that even more for me.
