A Bloom in Winter
Black Dagger Brotherhood, Book 22.5
I Picked Up This Book Because: Continue the series
Media Type: Audiobook
Source: P Public Library
Dates Read: 2/1/25 - 2/3/25
Stars:
The Characters:
Callum:
Apex:
Mayhem, Mariana (or something like that) Tor, Quinn, other citizens and the new glymera
The Story:
Me: I’m craving time with familiar characters
Library: Here’s your hold.
Me: This will be perfect.
Book: Here are a bunch of characters you don’t actually know.
I also still find the 30-year time jump a bit trippy. Like Quinn has adult kids! What?!?! They don’t live in the Mansion anymore. Huh? I have not read the last Prison Camp book yet and I think that might have an effect on my understanding of what is going on with Callum and Apex (or Mayhem and his Shellen). The changes within the Glymera are crazy too. Overall, this was an enjoyable yet confusing read.
