Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro

5.0

Got that feeling of 'I don't know what to do with my life anymore' after reading. It was difficult to get into the book in the beginning. Sometimes, the plot got confusing because of the mixing up of events without a steady timeline. BUT! BUT! As the pages got turned, I was dying to know what would happen next (especially the last 100 pages). I felt all kinds of emotions reading it - grief, anger, hope. It's difficult to explain, but I felt as if I had touched my emotions physically. I felt whatever I felt in severity and with my whole heart. It would be best if you just get into the book without any background information or knowing what the book is about. JUST GET INTO THE BOOK BLINDLY. For me, the book was slow-paced, and that's what made the 'Never Let Me Go' special.
