Rina Kent does it again. She writes some of the best morally grey men and mouthy FMCs. I wish I read all her other books before this one though…not because there are spoilers but for the nostalgia. I loved hearing about Aiden, Cole, Ronan, and Xander. I have read Levi’s book yet or any of the volkov.

Killian Carsen could easily be a serial killer but he knows that he’s control is necessary if he wants to be amongst society. He meets Glyndon King and suddenly those impulses don’t seem as strong…except when it comes to protecting her. Glyn understands what kind of person she’s dealing with when she meets killian. She never anticipated that his infatuation with her would last. She definitely never thought that she would feel freed and safe by his domination, especially when it’s so suffocating. Both of them must come to terms with these new feelings they’re experiencing and decide if they’ll give in or walk away.

Is dub/con, stalking, and manipulation are triggers for you, do not read this book!
