The Beach Trap by Ali Brady

3.0

Synopsis: I think this one is more fun if you go in somewhat blind because the “twist” takes place in the prologue. In short, this is a story about half sisters who are renovating a beach house after their father leaves it to them in his will.

Thoughts: I liked the concept of this one a lot, but for me the characters were so unlikeable that I couldn’t get invested in the story. One of the sisters, Kat, was so immature and entitled that I truly couldn’t get past it. Also a fair warning if you’re not a fan of a miscommunication trope - the miscommunication in this one is next level. That being said, it was a summery, light read that could definitely get you in the mood for the beach!
