While the stakes and the action was good, the plot was a slog and disjointed.
So many things happened that didn’t seem necessary or even connected happened. Of course a lot of that was proven otherwise, but still a lot could have been cut out.
I was glad that Stacy had her fling with Pitt at the beginning and we didn’t have that ridiculous plot line clogging things up as well. I do love that Loren keeps coming back into play and that she and Pitt actually work as friends with benefits realistically.
The only thing about Loren though is that I feel like she keeps turning into Daphne from Scooby Doo with how often she’s in danger.
With the climax it wasn’t hard to see that Pitt expected things to go wrong and that he’d have to live aboard the DSMV (see part about him collecting food and coffee). But the ending didn’t say exactly how he got out of the avalanche and that’s something I want to know!
