I don't think I've ever read a book about people that are incredibly intelligent, but also totally clueless in some areas, and also hopelessly devotedly in love with each other. Lessons in Chemistry is utterly heartbreaking, funny and hopeful, all at the same time. Elizabeth Zott is refreshingly honest and true to herself in a world where most bend and break and shrink themselves into the narrow offered to them by society, parents, partners etc.
Now, let's take a moment to bring to mind what we truly deeply want for ourselves, and then recommit to it. It is never too late.
