I am so thankful my friends made me read this books because oh lord I enjoyed it so much. I loved the adventure, the familial relationships between Amina and her crew, her love for her daughter but for herself as well and for adventure. I love this book made me see motherhood in a new lense, and is a reminder than a woman is not only a mother but her own self and I think that's priceless.
