This was a cute romance in the town of Rome, Kentucky.
Annie Walker (sister of Noah from book 1) owns a flower shop and wants to find her one true forever love. She goes on a date with someone she finds completely uninteresting and sabotages the date, while running into her sister-in-law Amelia’s bodyguard Will. She and Will however, have immediate chemistry but Will doesn’t want a serious relationship bc of issues with his parents growing up. Amelia decides Will should be her dating coach.
This one seemed steamier than the first but not super explicit. Definitely insta-love.
Rome, Kentucky is cute though. I loved the first book more and its inspiration from Audrey Hepburn. Thank you to libro.fm for providing audio copies for librarians.
“It seems to me, Annie, that you are just ? waiting for someone to give you permission to be yourself out loud." Ch 13
“But the thing about quiet people is, we're only quiet because our brains are so busy overthinking everything. Does he know his leg is touching mine? Does he want his leg to be touching mine?” Ch 26
