Where do I start? What went wrong here? I don’t know. I don’t know what I expected but this was most definitely not how I imagined book two to be. I understand Nark’s review much better after having read the book.><
So many cringe moments, yeah?
- Fireman’s pole
- Love in two weeks
- Mayor and firechief(seriously?) fantasy
- Sex sex and sex all the time
After drunk-deciding a flight to South Haven, Kieran spots the man he went in search for on a random beach(because yeah that happens under fate). He gets pissed, they leave for Bash’s home, where he doses off. They discuss everything the next day, and kiss and make up. They go for an outing every now and then, come back home, have sex. I didn’t even notice the first week’s end, I skimmed along that much. This was kinda like a cycle. Same over and over. Then they finally decide to “talk”, because man, talking about the big elephant in the room was so damn hard, when they could just get horny and have fun.
I have a huge meh look pasted on my face right now. Seriously don’t know where this is heading. I didn’t read through the last few chapters so I might have some difficulty getting into book three, but hey, I’d rather not go through book two ever again.
