The Southern Book Club's Guide to Slaying Vampires
by Grady Hendrix
I'm not sure why, but when I read the summary I thought this book would be like a humorous little fling. It wasn't. I was actually scared a good amount of the time. Not only does it make you afraid of vampires but also makes you really stop and think if you know your neighbors.
There were the ups and downs of a classic friend group. The characters you were suppose to dislike were written well. I hated them.
Once the suspense started, it didn't really stop. I finished this book in two sittings. And I definitely won't be able to sleep tonight.
*There was gore and some sexual content*
