Ten Women by Marcela Serrano

3.0

This book begins with nine women exiting a van, invited by their therapist, Natasha, the seemingly only common thread amongst these women, other than the fact that they are all Chilean. Each chapter in this book is told by a different woman, as she explains her life, her opinions, and what brought her to Natasha. Each of the narrators and her story is unique, and that is what kept my interest as I was reading the book.

That being said, I was disappointed by the ending. Without spoiling too much of the book, the ending, rather than tying the book together, left me wondering why I had spent the last few days reading this book. While I had enjoyed reading the womens' stories, the ending made me question what exactly was the point of it all.
