I listened to the audio courtesy of the authors. It doesn’t disappoint - this story occurring some years after Shayna and Lee first met in college. It’s a second chance, workplace sports romance with the forbidden nature of these two being that he’s the star QB and she’s now an athletic trainer.
What’s nice is that for the most part he falls first and tries to convince her their relationship can work. Naive much? Or easy when you’re the QB with nothing to lose.
Loved this one shows a great friendship between Shayne and Bryce which plays out in later books in the series.
