After finishing this play, I just have a lot of questions. Why does Tiresias seem to make an appearance in every Greek play? lol. Couldn't Dionysus have just told everybody he was a god and done some sort of magic trick to prove it without killing people? This whole thing could have really been avoided really. As I said when I was reading Medea, I hate all of the long choral songs. To me, they are unnecessary, although in this play I will say say that they serve a bit more of a purpose than they did in Medea, but i could still do without them entirely. Overall, this play was just okay. It wasn't that good and it wasn't that bad.
