Honestly no notes. Nathaniel is the ultimate golden retriever and Ash is the quintessential black cat. There were so many different characters that made the plot funny while not over taking the main characters. The relationship between Augustus and Ash was precious and the way he looks out for her and how she supports and understands him, it’s endearing and gives great depth to her character. 

The jobs of the two main characters were so different than anything I’ve ever read. When Nathanial falls he falls HARD and so swiftly that Ash has a hard time keeping up and understanding she’s in fact lovable.
