This book!

It gripped me from the very first page and held me captive in a chokehold till the very end.

The world building in this book is everything. You can picture yourself in the middle of the events occurring, what the night sky looks like with ribbons shining bright, the crystal blue water with the warm sun enticing you to dip your toes in. It’s just amazing!

Lor, I loved her. I loved her determination and strength, her ability to still show kindness to the ones that have showed her anything but. Her courage and ability to survive is truly beautiful and her journey has only just begun. The only thing I didn’t like is how she didn’t find Atlas a bit… too nice.

Atlas, I’m not a fan. He gave me the wiggins after the first proper meeting. He was too kind and too adoring if that’s possible. It made is a suspect in my world, I didn’t trust him. Then with the trials, it’s just barbaric but great stuff for story telling.

I enjoyed meeting Nadir, the Aurora Prince. I have a good feeling about him.

This is my first book by Nisha J Tuli and I can say, I’m a fan. I’ll definitely be reading her other books. I can’t wait to see what happens in The Rule Of The Aurora King.

4.5 Stars, only because Lor should have kicked Atlas in the balls at the masquerade after he grabbed her. I wish she had really seen the signs of his true self earlier and wasn’t so smitten with him.

Also, #FuckAtlas
