The Moral Case for Fossil Fuels by Alex Epstein

1.0

I usually like to read about opinions that differ from my own, but this book was simply aggravating.
Actually, I don't think I have read a book that is more disturbing or troublesome.

The author has written this book on the premise that human life should be valued over all else, and completely dismisses ecological services or the role that humans play as animals in an ecological niche. This regard for humans above all is very problematic and infests all other claims made in the book- one of the most disturbing being his rejection that climate change is man-made or even concerning.

Please read this book with a critical mind. Many things are missing in his arguments.
