Always love an outlander book. This book didn't feel so prominent as the others and the first half felt like a filler book. Trying to find a new direction after the definitive end of the last one. But she draws such interesting twists in stories and as always it's always interesting to follow Jamie Fraser and Claire in their next adventures. I had also come to love Brianna and Roger's povs in the last book and felt this one held less focus on them. But I enjoyed reading about their domestic life and little dramas . The cliff ending of theirs in this book is torture! I must get my hands on the next one.
