There Goes Sunday School by Alexander C. Eberhart
3.0
This book was a bit weird to read, especially reading this after the Theoretically books you’ve written. It almost feels like a basic version of the Theoretically books.
The writing is okay, but I feel the pacing is very weird. A lot of stuff just seems to happen really fast and unexpectedly. It kinda feels like an early draft.
However, the early draft is very promising. Chris is really the standout character, and his arc/characterization is interesting to see. I feel like Mike is a prototype version of both Theo and Caleb, with some common elements being shared.
The ending is really cool, and probably saved this book from a lower rating. I really like Mike “passing on” from Chris’s advice
