El Fantasma de la Opera by Gaston Leroux

What can I say? S.

I haven't read a lot of classics, but, I think this is a good story.
It is not a heavy reading, the love story was kinda cute (NOT between Erik and Christine, don't get me wrong), the way the author describes Raoul's feelings and the past story in Perros was REALLY good; and (as a thing I didn't expect) it sometimes made me laugh.
About the characters, well, they were ok, sometimes they were a little stupid, but nothing that could bother me.
Erik as the villain was good, and you kind of end up feeling sorry for him (thing that the story wants you to feel), even tho his decisions in life are horrible.

Note: My favourite chapter was the one about the past between Catherine and Raoul. And my favourite characters were 'Madame Giry' and 'The Persian' (yes, secondary characters) ≧(´▽`)≦
