I have mixed feelings.
On the one hand, I love Chaol. I loved is development throughout the series and this book. I enjoyed a lot Yrene, she is well spoken and she and chaol are a prefect match. We have great revelation :the Maeve one took me off guard and the healer true role as well .
The outlook of reading about another continent was very thrilling and I believe necessary for the overall world building, plus it underlines how big the next battle is going to be with all of these characters involved.
On the other hand I was not a fan of Nesryn. I did not care about her as an important character of a book. Overall some parts of the book were just long. I feel like it could have been 100 pages less and still work out.
