This was such an interesting and thought-provoking historical fiction/contemporary mash-up! I loved the time jumps from centuries ago to modern day and I SUPER loved the storyline of an apothecary dealing in poisons to aid women. The nod to women's rights, safety & health was appreciated and I definitely will be going down a more in-depth rabbit hole now!
I even liked the parallel to the modern storyline and identified with the issues Caroline is dealing with.
I listened to the audiobook & the narrators did a great job with accents and telling the story in an engaging way!
