the concept is very interesting: the idea that you have to time travel in order to stop a crime. it was so fascinating to watch jen go back in time to save her son. it was cool to solve the crime with her & also have the juxtaposition of ryan’s POV. it came together nicely and provided a nice background for the story.
i didn’t think there was anything shocking or any major plot twists for me. i felt that things were predictable and/or not entirely shocking. i did like that the book ended on an ominous note with there being unintended consequences.
also, the reasoning of kelly keeping his identity hidden from jen “for love” was a little cheesy, but understandable nonetheless
