šŸ“š Book Review: The Housemaid Is Watching

Okay, let me just start by saying—I did NOT see that plot twist coming! 😱

Spoiler Alert ahead, y’all. You’ve been warned. šŸ‘€

From the jump, I knew something was off with the new neighbors. The vibes were weird, the missing child situation was shady, and I just knew someone in that house was guilty… but I couldn’t quite figure out who. My original suspect? The wife. But oh no—Freida said plot twist incoming!

Then I was side-eyeing Enzo (Millie’s husband) for those late-night convos. I really thought he was having an affair with the neighbor’s wife. Wrong again! It was the maid—and not just any maid. This woman had a deep, dark connection to the past, linking all the way back to Millie’s trauma and that infamous ā€œun-alivingā€ incident. Talk about full circle from book one!

And let’s not forget the jaw-dropping reveals involving Millie’s kids. Like—what?! This book had so many twists, turns, and wild reveals that I felt like I needed a moment to catch my breath after every chapter. Freida McFadden really knows how to play with your mind.

If this is the final book in the series (I think it is?), it went out with a bang. But if there’s another one coming? I’m all in. šŸŽ§šŸ“–
