This one almost got five stars from me. The writing is absolutely amazing in my opinion. I love the banter between the main characters and I also love their development a long the way. The only reason it didn’t get five stars was because I felt that there were too many things left unresolved. I know full and well there is a sequel but I just felt certain things could have been included in this novel instead of dragging it into the next one. I also felt the ending was a little out of nowhere like in my opinion Kazi or Jase didn’t really portray that they still loved each other until the queen kind of played a hand in the situation, doing this felt them getting back together a little anti climatic to me so it was a tad frustrating . I also absolutely loved the last chapter and how ominously it sets up the sequel!
Graphic: Violence
Moderate: Death, Blood, and Panic attacks/disorders
Minor: Grief, Torture, and Medical content
