This one feels a bit like it summoned some bad winter storms. A BBC recording classic- this middle reader is a mid-winter favorite of my extended family, with a fun group read that happens in real time (as it was played on BBC back in the day). I, as usual, can stay up with a group read, but it does have a great adventure story with wonderful narration. This is a solid kid quest, with time travel and some other fantasy elements.
